The ancient city of Selinunte experienced a unique event thanks to the “Hera’s Era” project, promoted by Gather and Maravigghia, and curated by the Sicilian artist Dario Denso Andriolo. This initiative celebrated the magnificence of the Temple of Hera through a spectacular projection mapping experience.
Utilizing cutting-edge projection technologies, “Hera’s Era” transported spectators on a fascinating journey through time. High-definition images reconstructed the history and architecture of the Temple, while an evocative color palette echoed the tones of the surrounding nature and ancient Greece, offering an unprecedented visual spectacle.
Promoted by Gather, the project aimed to preserve and promote Selinunte’s cultural and historical heritage, providing an educational and engaging experience for visitors. Through this initiative, it became possible to understand the importance and beauty of the Temple of Hera in a completely new and innovative way.
